Question by rskha: Do the “Barack Obama 24kt Coins” hold any value?
They look pretty impressive, but will they be worth having for the long term, only 10 bucks? Also, are other coins like Michael Jordan etc. hold any value or are they just collectibles?

First of all the items you are writing about are not considered coins but novelties, by the coin collecting community. It has shown over the years that such items do not hold their value over time. Jordan items are not coins but medals or tokens as well as some Obama items, others are painted coins which damages the coins. A coin has the backing of a government and has a denomination and can be spent to buy things. If you want one as a souvenir that is fine but do not expect to make money on it.
